he Glasgow Light Opera Club is set to present their production of the much-loved Charles Dicken's classic, A Christmas Carol.

The productions stars Johnathan Procter of Carluke as Scrooge; Clyde Valley's Sandra Craig as Lamplighter, Composer and Musical Director of Artsnet, Raymond Tullips from Motherwell as Sandwichboard Man.

Playing Tiny Tim is 12-year-old Harrison Burnside from East Kilbride. One to look out for, Harrison will be appearing in an episode of Netflix's The Crown this December.

A well-known story, A Christmas Carol, tells the tale of Ebenzer Scrooge, a prosperous curmudgeon and with an infuriated Bah! Humbug! who does not care for Christmas tidings and charitable giving. But he's soon forced to face his selfish ways when three ghosts on Christmas Eve lead him through his past, present and future.

With memorable songs by Alan Menken including Lights of Long Ago, God Bless Us Everyone and Christmas Together, A Christmas Carol is perfect for those looking for a way to kick of the festive season.
