Allan Stewart's Big Big Variety Show is back at the King's Theatre this spring with another stellar line-up promising the best in entertainment and the biggest laughs in town.
In a world exclusive, Allan will be joined by fellow Scottish stage legend Elaine C Smith, giving audiences the first ever opportunity to see the two comic giants perform together.
One of the entertainment industry's most talented performers, Elaine C Smith has regularly worked in radio, television, film and theatre, starring in numerous comedy series including City Lights (BBC Scotland) and Naked Video (BBC) but she is perhaps best known for her enduring portrayal of Mary Nesbitt in 10 series of the BBC2 hit sitcom Rab C Nesbitt. She recently made a return to the small screen in BBC sitcom Two Doors Down and STV's A Burdseye View, and has recently completed her eighth year starring in the record-breaking pantomime at His Majesty's Theatre in Aberdeen.
There's blast from the past from Scottish rock band Pilot, formed in 1973 in Edinburgh by David Paton and Billy Lyall, and back performing their 1970s hits 'January' and 'Magic'. Performances from the band have been few and far between in Scotland in recent years, so this is a rare opportunity to hear David Paton perform these classic songs.
Coatbridge comic Edward Reid and star of 'Britain's Got Talent', brings his unique mix of comedy and music to the line-up. Showing his great versatility in style and spot on comic timing, Edward scooped Radio Forth's Best Fringe in 2012 for his one man show 'Living The Dream One Song At A Time' and was awarded Bighearted Scotland's Entertainer of The Year in 2013.
And Allan's partner in panto Grant Stott will be back at the King's playing it for laughs as Big Boaby in the McRobert Brothers sketches with Allan Stewart.
Promising a night of big names, big laughs, big songs and big fun, Allan's Stewart's Variety has got it all sewn up at the King's.
Allan Stewart's Big Big Variety Show runs at the King's Theatre from 28th February - 4th March.
