The 2018 Student Ten-Minute Playwriting Festival will be held February 3-4, 2018, at the Jane B. Cook Theatre (FSU/Asolo Center for the Performing Arts). These cash scholarships are generously provided by the Dorothy B. Templeton Fund at the Community Foundation of Sarasota County.
"We had a record-breaking number of plays submitted this year (53) from six different area schools and 70 students," said Don Walker, Theatre Odyssey's Board President. "We are excited to assist the eight selected student playwrights in developing their original works for the stage."
