The Capitol Theatre presents Peter White and Euge Groove on Saturday, May 13 at 10 am. Tickets go on sale Friday, August 25 at 7:30 pm.

After nearly four decades of writing, recording and touring - either as a sideman or a solo artist - Peter White still seeks out the road not yet traveled. Whether it's new songs, new ideas, new styles or new collaborators, this virtuoso of contemporary jazz, classical, pop and Spanish guitar is at his best when standing on the edge of creative territory waiting to be explored.

Groovin', White's most recent album is his third collection of guitar-centric interpretations of timeless compositions from those halcyon years of the 1950s to the '80s. Taking up where his previous all-covers albums Reflections (1994) and Playin' Favorites (2006) left off, Groovin' finds White not only nostalgic but adventurous and playful, injecting vocal shadings and bold horn charts into the mix, and even some tougher guitar sounds than he's generally known for.

Euge Groove 's Ying and Yang and ebb and flow approach to his artistry and life have allowed him to enjoy a career longevity that is atypical. The highly sought after musical chameleon has been called upon for his musical prowess by everyone from Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Famer Tina Turner and balladeer Luther Vandross to U.K. Blues Rocker Joe Cocker, Richard Marx and more.

Euge Groove remains an artist who chooses to continually push the boundaries and let his music go where his heart leads. "Good music is good music, no matter what." Euge's open heart and ears have led him to the top of the charts multiple times resulting in thirteen #1 hits such as Chillaxin, Born 2 Groove and Religify.
