Rise Above Performing Arts will start out the new year with Andrew Lloyd Webber's first musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with Book and Lyrics by Tim Rice. The show will open Thursday, January 10th with performances running until Sunday, January 13th.
The Musical takes on the Biblical story of Joseph and his 11 brothers and retells it using a pastiche of American pop music styles.
Jacob Ruscoe takes the helm as Director with Choreography by Rachael Henry-Johnson, and Musical Direction by Joi Chapman. All serve on the board as well along with Krista Baker (Development Coordinator) and KEVIN Ray Johnson (Creative Artistic Advisor).
Stevie Romero will take on the title role of Joseph with Emily Mollin as the Narrator. Rounding out the Principal cast will be Zach Thompson (Jacob), Kai Maurice (Pharoah), Drew Miller (Potiphar), Marissa Fontaine (Potiphar's Wife), Charlie Flint (Young Pharoah), Yoshi Wilson (Reuben), Cooper Flerlage (Simeon), Brynn Partee (Levi), Kenneth McNiven (Judah), Dylan Ramon (Dan), Nicole Parisi (Naphtali), Shayla White (Gad), Addison Ruscoe (Asher), Austyn Acker (Issachar), Roxy Gevas (Zebulun), Cannon Barberio (Benjamin).
