If the world ended tomorrow, what traces would you leave behind? In the “breathless and electric” (The Associated Press) hit show Traces, the human body is gloriously pushed to its limits by Montreal circus troupe, Les 7 Doigts. As disaster looms outside of an abandoned warehouse, a group of young urban friends sequestered within see no-holds-barred artistic expression as the only remedy. Through explosive, high-voltage acrobatics, music, dance – and even some skateboarding and basketball – they attempt to leave their marks. Fusing the traditions of circus with the energy of street performance, Traces is a tour-de-force display of raw emotion and physicality with touches of humor.
