The Granada Theatre, built by the community for the community, first opened its doors and welcomed live performances on stage in April 1924. In collaboration with its resident companies, the Granada Theatre looks forward to delivering an outstanding lineup of performing arts and films accessible to the entire Santa Barbara community. The Granada Theatre Concert Series brings an incredible lineup of live performances, comedians, and popular contemporary artists to the stage, while their widely popular Film Series brings audiences movies ranging from cinematic classics and comedies, to musical cinema, films from the Mexican Golden Age, as well as family-friendly favorites.
