About John Wilson:
A “marvelous musical mad scientist” (Music Critics Association of North America), John Wilson is pianist at the San Francisco Symphony, Principal Keyboard of Marin Symphony, and has performed as Guest Principal Keyboard of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. John recently released his second album on Avie Records, “Rachmaninoff • Gershwin: Transcriptions by Earl Wild,” a follow-up to his first award-winning album, “Upon Further Reflection”, which featured the premiere of MTT’s three-movement suite for piano. With a voice that shimmers, Ms. Wolfe combines a vintage sound with classic material to a thrilling effect. She is creator of Femme Fatale: A Film Noir Cabaret, and one-half of the comedic duo, Sophisticated Ladies, whose harmonically rich shows feature ballads, boogies and heart-melting harmonies from the Art Deco era. Shannon has appeared regularly at San Francisco’s Society Cabaret inside the Hotel Rex and at The Bird & Beckett with pianist Eric Shifrin & the In Crowd.
