A witch hunt consumes a small English village and no woman is safe. Alice and her mother Joan are accused of witchcraft after several mishaps at their neighbor's farm. It is later implied that Vinegar Tom, Joan's cat, may have been behind it all. With scenes punctuated by live music and song, Vinegar Tom tells the harrowing story of the women accused of witchcraft and the men who called them wicked.
