Tito Puente, Jr. will headline the opening night of the inaugural Marin Jazz season on October 4, joined by his 7-piece band for an electrifying performance titled Bringing a Taste of Cuba. This event coincides with National Hispanic Heritage Month, celebrating the legacy of Puente and his father, who are both recognized pioneers in Latin jazz. The newly formed Marin Jazz organization, led by Todd Ghanizadeh, aims to support afterschool performing arts programs for students in Marin County through its series of performances.
