Those lucky enough to have caught "The People in the Picture" in 2011 during its limited Broadway run will tell you it is one of the most moving, beautiful, and passionate stories of our time. Since its Broadway premiere, the playwright/lyricist (nine-time novelist and award-winning playwright Iris Rainer Dart) and composers (Mike Stoller, of Leiber & Stoller, and Artie Butler, multi Emmy- and Grammy-nominated composer/arranger) have joined Guggenheim Entertainment to revisit the production resulting in a profoundly intimate and well-crafted piece of American theatre. Like Dart's "Beaches", "The People in the Picture" is at the same time fiercely funny and deeply moving as it celebrates a strong woman and her legacy moving through 40 years and across two continents and timelines.
