THE HAROLD begins with a single audience suggestion. From that point on anything can happen — it’s unstructured and unpredictable! The improvisers search for improv magic as they follow threads and whims ensuring no two Harolds are alike. The Harold was born in SF at the ground breaking improv group The Committee. Improv innovator Del Close continued to work on the format at The Second City in Chicago. It has become one of the most popular improv formats in the world.
