Enjoy a script-in-hand semi-staged reading of Tira Palmquist’s Two Degrees, starting at 7:00 PM at SPARC Studio.
SPARC Theater hopes to make a difference with their second annual Science@Play reading series. This year’s programming shines a light on the climate crisis with two brand new plays!
Known for merging the personal, political, and poetical, Tira Palmquist’s Two Degrees kicks off this year’s Science@Play series. Two Degrees is about Emma Phelps, a paleoclimatologist, focusing on ice in Greenland. Now she’s been asked to come to Washington D.C. to testify in a Senate Committee regarding climate change legislation, and in this intersection of science and politics, of politics and the personal, she finds more than just a little is breaking up under the strain of change.
The Science@Play reading series will be held at SPARC Studio (2172 Railroad Ave. Livermore, CA 94550). Two Degrees will run from November 4th – 6th all starting at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $20.00 and are available for purchase at www.SPARCtheater.org or at the door.
