World-renowned jazz/cabaret star Natalie Douglas debuts her critically-acclaimed one woman show, "Four Women: Nina Simone, Lena Horne, Abbey Lincoln and Billie Holiday" at the historic Orinda Theatre.Called "a true force of nature" and "in a league of her own" by Clive Davis of The Times (UK) in his 5-star reviews of her London appearances, world-renowned cabaret/jazz star Natalie Douglas has won a multitude of awards for her inspired solo shows and recordings - including 11 MAC Awards (Manhattan Association of Cabarets). For years, she's held a residency at the legendary Birdland jazz club in New York (where her portrait hangs on their Wall of Fame) and has brought audiences to their feet from Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center to concert halls in the UK, Italy, Greece, Monaco, Argentina and beyond.
