If you have never had the fortune to see this Broadway classic, you are in for a treat. This Tony-winning masterpiece is based on the memoirs of Gypsy Rose Lee, the famous striptease artist, but primarily focuses on her mother, Rose, whose name has become synonymous with “the ultimate show business mother.” Gypsy follows the dreams and efforts of “Mama” Rose as she does her best to raise two daughters and maintain a personal life, while secretly dreaming of an onstage career for herself.
