Another Opening, Another Show at San José Chamber Orchestra

San José Chamber Orchestra kicks off its 34th concert season with a special performance featuring the World Premiere of Michael Gilbertson’s Duo Percussion Concerto, co-commissioned with the Arx Duo, showcasing percussionists Garrett Arney and Mari Yoshinaga. The program also includes Arturo Márquez's Danzón 6 "Puerto Calvario," featuring soprano saxophonist Michael Hernandez. Conducted by Barbara Day Turner, this event celebrates new music and the rich talent of contemporary composers and performers.
