A Fire Within at CubaCaribe

A Fire Within is a part of the 19th Annual CubaCaribe Festival of Dance & Music, celebrating the passion of artists through performances by seven Bay Area dance companies. The festival includes Batey Tambó, Batuki, Dimensions Dance Theater, Folklo Ayisyen Lakay, Herencia Guantanamera, Los Lupeños de San José, and Rueda Con Ritmo. Highlighting the theme of artistic inspiration, the festival features performances from March 28 to March 30 at ODC Theater in San Francisco, alongside special events such as master dance classes and film screenings. Artistic Director Ramón Ramos Alayo and Executive Director Jamaica Itule Simmons lead this vibrant celebration of Afro-Caribbean culture.
