The Berkeley Repertory Theatre is pleased to announce night/OUT, an event for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community on Thursday, July 13. The evening starts at 8:00 PM with a hilarious performance of Ennio and the festivities continue late into the night.

The post-play party features gourmet hors d'oeuvres from Bar Ristorante Raphael, complimentary beverages from Triple Rock Brewery and Raymond Vineyard & Cellar, and music mixed by DJ rrrus. Admission to the party is free with a ticket to that evening's performance; seats in the orchestra are priced at $35, and seats in the mezzanine are only $25. Discounts are also available for groups of 10 or more.

Now in its fifth year, night/OUT mixes Tony Award-winning theatre with fabulous parties for the LGBT community – giving audience members the opportunity to mingle with the cast, catch up with friends, or meet someone new. Subscriptions are now available to attend all three parties scheduled for next season, including performances of Stew's Passing Strange, Martin McDonagh's The Pillowman, and Tanya Barfield's The Blue Door.

Known as "the human paper-doll," Ennio makes the art of origami into theatrical magic. Don't miss the original quick-change artist as he races through 50 life-size costumes in only 70 minutes, lampooning politicians, celebrities, and historical figures to non-stop music. Ennio creates caricatures of pop-culture icons ranging from Marilyn Monroe to Marilyn Manson, stopping along the way to see Celine Dion, Barbara Streisand, Madonna, and more.

There will be only 14 performances of Ennio – between Wednesday, July 12 and Sunday, July 21. Written and performed by Ennio Marchetto and directed by Sosthen Hennekam, the show is presented by Glynis Henderson Productions and Jonathan Reinis Productions, in association with Berkeley Rep.
