Cinderella meets Tinder in this modern musical. Our princess, Meg, longs for true love, but she can barely get a "like." Her fairy-god-roommate reveals the magic of Tinder, and suddenly prince charming is only a swipe away. But Meg still must get to the ball, catch BART before midnight, and reconcile her fairytale dreams with reality-all without losing her slippers.
Tinderella runs April 26 - May 26 at Custom Made Theatre, 533 Sutter Street in San Francisco.
Custom Made is proud to collaborate with FaultLine Theater to bring the World Premiere musical Tinderella to their stage. FaultLine has been developing this rock/pop, sometimes racy, often sweet, show for over three years now, including two public workshops at PianoFight.
Co-Artistic Director of FaultLine, Cole Ferraiuolo, says about the show, "In many ways the growth of Tinderella has mirrored the growth of FaultLine and our community. What started out as a kinda brash, little bit snarky idea among friends has matured into a much deeper drive to reflect ourselves, our youthful community, and engage the next generation in the power of live performance."
Custom Made Artistic Director Brian Katz chimes in with, "it's been amazing to watch the progression of this new musical work, which had so much potential (and was already crazy funny) the first time I saw it. FaultLine has done a remarkable job bringing it to life, and we are proud to be able to share it with our audience, as well as lovers of new musicals in the Bay Area."
From book writer Rose Oser: "Tinder unlocks endless possibilities which is why it fits so perfectly within the world of musical theater, a world where everyone always wants more and more. Wes and Christian have created clever, catchy pop-rock music that is like Ben Folds meets Rachel Bloom meets that one guy you slept with that one time-- Josh? Jason? Who cares."
Tinderella features catchy songs like "Like Me", "Picture Perfect", "Slow Grind Love Song" and "D*ck Pic" and includes a cast of 12 actors including Custom Made company member (and TBA nominee for Grey Gardens) Juliana Lustenader as Meg, the girl who just can't seem to have it all, and Branden Noel Thomas (Berkeley Playhouse, San Jose Stage) as Dylan, her fairy-god-roommate.

Alex Akin, Andrew Chung, Kimberley Cohan, Sarah Jiang, Juliana Lustenader, Adielyn Mendoza, James Seifert, Jackson Thea, Branden Noel Thomas, and Ryan Wakamiya

About FaultLine Theater
FaultLine's mission is to empower emerging artists to create vibrant new works, to turn fresh scripts and bold ideas into fully-realized productions, and to open our doors to the young and the skeptical. We do this by finding and developing new work that lies at the intersection of pop culture and politics, engaging our audience in rigorous conversation about topics that are trending, pressing, and relevant to our lives. Since our founding in 2012, FaultLine has produced over 20 full-length plays, 5 sketch comedy shows, and Tinder Disrupt-- a monthly dating show in which eligible singles are "pitched" to the crowd via PowerPoint presentation.
