The San Francisco company of WICKED offers a rare insider's glimpse into the world of the blockbuster Broadway musical. Behind the Emerald Curtain, an exclusive look at the creative journey of WICKED, hosted by cast members from the show, will be offered every Saturday morning at 10 AM beginning October 17 at The Orpheum Theatre (1192 Market Street) where the show continues its open-ended engagement. The 90-minute experience gives audience members the unique opportunity to see what happens to make a big Broadway musical like WICKED come alive at every performance everything from design and production to performance and marketing. Tickets go on sale Monday, October 5.

Behind the Emerald Curtain was originally created for the Broadway production of WICKED in September 2005 and has since welcomed more than 80,000 guests. The new San Francisco edition of Behind the Emerald Curtain joins the Broadway version as well as one at Universal Studios Hollywood, where a special student edition is introducing a new generation of theatergoers to the behind-the-scenes wonders of live theatre.
