The Actors Theatre of San Francisco proudly presents Horton Foote's acclaimed play, The Trip to Bountiful, through September 9.

"Set in 1947, Carrie Watts (Shelton) finds herself in the twilight of her life, trapped in a city apartment, miles from the small town of her birth.
Watts sets her mind on returning to her hometown and begins a cathartic odyssey that forms the plot to this timeless story."
The Trip to Bountiful, directed by Jennifer Welch and Rachel Klyce, also features Keith Burkland, Scott Agar Jaicks, Tim Meehan, Jenny Dare Paulin, Christian Phillips, Duncan Phillips, and Niki Yapo.
