Tony Winner Christine Ebersole Will Return to Feinstein's at the Nikko, 6/14-15

After a sold-out engagement last September, two-time Tony Award winner Christine Ebersole (Grey Gardens, 42nd Street) returns to Feinstein's at the Nikko with her newest concert, "Strings Attached," for two performances only - Saturday, June 14 (7 p.m.) and Sunday, June 15 (7 p.m.). Joined by The Aaron Weinstein Trio, Ebersole will celebrate the release of her recent CD, "Strings Attached." The evening will include classic standards from the '20s, '30s and '40s, featuring songs by such legends as Fats Waller ("Jitterbug Waltz"), Cole Porter ("Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye"), Johnny Mercer ("This Time the Dream's on Me") and George Gershwin ("Shall We Dance") to name a few. Located within Hotel Nikko (222 Mason Street, San Francisco), Feinstein's at the Nikko presents a wide range of entertainers from stage and screen all within an intimate 140-seat cabaret setting. There is a $20 food and beverage minimum per person inside the showroom which guests can use towards cocktails as well as a variety of small plates crafted exclusively for Feinstein's at the Nikko by Executive Chef Philippe Striffeler, through Restaurant Anzu. Cheese and dessert platters will also be available in the showroom.

In addition to currently starring in the hit TBS comedy series "Sullivan & Son," Ebersole was recently seen opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in the Oscar-nominated film, "The Wolf of Wall Street" and was part of this season's arc on "American Horror Story." Her Broadway credits include Blithe Spirit, The Best Man, Dinner at Eight, Steel Magnolias and Oklahoma. In concert, Christine has performed at The Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, The American Songbook Series at Lincoln Center and in many more concert halls. She has sung with The Boston Pops, The San Francisco Symphony at Carnegie Hall (seen on PBS), The Philadelphia Orchestra and The Pasadena Pops. Christine was a regular cast member of the Not Ready for Prime Time Players on "Saturday Night Live" during the 1981-82 season. Her other television credits include "Tessie Tura" in Bette Midler's "Gypsy," the hit TV series, "Royal Pains", appeared as Denny Craig's love interest in "Boston Legal," "Law and Order, SVU," "Mary & Rhoda," "Platinum" with Diana Ross, "Will & Grace" as well as appearances on "The Today Show", "The View" and "The Colbert Report." Film work includes the hit movie, "Confessions of a Shopaholic," "Tootsie," "Amadeus," "Black Sheep," "Dead Again," "My Favorite Martian," "My Girl II," "Folks!" and "Richie Rich."

Named a "rising star violinist" by Downbeat Magazine, Aaron Weinstein is quickly earning a reputation as one of the finest jazz violinists of his generation. As a featured soloist, Aaron has performed at Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Wolftrap Center for the Performing Arts, Birdland, Blue Note the Iridium, and abroad at jazz festivals in England, France, Switzerland, Iceland, and Israel. He has been called "the Groucho of the violin" by Tony Bennett and "a perfect musician" by jazz guitar legend, Bucky Pizzarelli. Aaron has performed and recorded with an array of jazz icons including: Les Paul, Bucky Pizzarelli, John Pizzarelli, Scott Hamilton, Dick Hyman, Dave Frishberg, Ken Peplowski, Houston Person, Jon Hendricks and Annie Ross as well as New York Pops founder/conductor, Skitch Henderson. He has written arrangements for artists including Janis Siegel, Michael Feinstein, Billy Stritch, and Hilary Kole and Christine Ebersole and is a New York Nightlife Award winner and recent graduate of the Berklee College of Music where he was awarded a full four-year talent-based scholarship. He brings exquisite musicianship to these very special nights at Feinstein's at Hotel Nikko alongside Christine Ebersole.

All seating at Feinstein's at the Nikko is cabaret style and available on a first-come, first-served basis within the section purchased. Guests who purchase the prix-fixe dinner at Restaurant Anzu will receive a complimentary section upgrade (subject to availability) and get to choose their exact seat locations within the upgraded section.

Guests of Feinstein's at the Nikko can enjoy a variety of food and beverage options before performances. Kanpai Lounge, located in Hotel Nikko's lobby, offers light cuisine, a full bar and specialty cocktails. Restaurant Anzu, Hotel Nikko's intimate restaurant located on the second floor, serves sustainable California cuisine enhanced with Asian flavors. Restaurant Anzu will also offer Feinstein's at the Nikko guests a special three-course prix-fixe dinner ($45 per person) prior to all performances.
