This November, TheatreWorks Silicon Valley invites guests to sip from the fountain of youth and travel through time celebrating nearly 50 years of innovative theatre with its fall gala TheatreWorks Everlasting, inspired by the themes of its upcoming holiday production Tuck Everlasting. Established in Palo Alto in 1970, TheatreWorks has grown over the past 48 years into one of the largest theatre companies in the Bay Area, and one of the nation's leading presenters of new works. This magical adventure will include delectable food, wine, and an original show, as well as guest theatre luminaries, and an exceptional benefit auction featuring fabulous trips and behind-the-scenes theatre experiences.
TheatreWorks Everlasting will take place Saturday, November 3 at the Sharon Heights Golf and Country Club, 2900 Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park.
Proceeds from the one-night-only experience will benefit TheatreWorks's continued mission to bring arts, education, and new works to Bay Area audiences. The TheatreWorks Everlasting committee has prepared a time traveling adventure through theatre past, present, and future that will raise funds to help the company continue to present productions of artistic excellence, bring arts education to the community, and develop new plays and musicals that become part of the canon of American theatre. Guests are invited to dress to their favorite era-costumes are admired, but not required. TheatreWorks Everlasting will also feature a special musical revue directed by TheatreWorks's Director of New Works Giovanna Sardelli. In addition, there will be a live auction of fabulous trips and unforgettable experiences, presided by principal auctioneer Chad Carvey, including an opportunity to enter the $10,000 Dining & Shopping Experience Raffle by Stephen Silver, one of America's leading time piece and jewelry houses. Other incredible auction items include a private tour for eight at internationally acclaimed artist Dale Chihuly's private Seattle boathouse, and passes to the annual Festival of New Musicals, presented by the National Alliance for Musical Theatre in New York City.

Along with a fine dining experience, gala attendees will be treated to a musical revue directed by TheatreWorks Director of New Works Giovanna Sardelli. Celebrating TheatreWorks's New Works Initiative, the evening will feature an appearance by Pulitzer Prize finalist and award-winning playwright Rajiv Joseph, whose play Archduke debuted in TheatreWorks's New Works Festival and will close the 2018-19 mainstage season. The entertainment will also feature a musical revue with a book by Max Tachis, star of TheatreWorks's The Santaland Diaries, and music direction by Jonathan Erman. The revue will feature songs from shows developed at TheatreWorks Silicon Valley, paying homage to TheatreWorks's history as an incubator for new musicals and plays.
