Alternative-pop solo artist, The Ready Set, has been chosen to perform during the MTV and ZYNC from American Express TJ Search Finale airing live from the Brooklyn Academy Of Music Ballroom on Sunday, August 8th at 10PM EDT and streamed simultaneously on MTV.com. "Follow Me: The Search for the first MTV TJ" launched in June with ZYNC from American Express featuring 20 social media enthusiasts competing to serve as the first-ever MTV "Twitter Jockey," as the face and voice for MTV across social media platforms. Tune in to watch the final five remaining contestants square off live in a series of elimination rounds and catch The Ready Set perform his first single, "Love Like Woe."

"Love Like Woe," the JR Rotem-produced first single off The Ready Set's debut album I'm Alive, I'm Dreaming, is currently climbing the sales and radio charts. The track has been a main stay on the iTunes pop chart (currently #32) and sales have increased each week for the past 10 weeks, highlighted by 17,000 units this week alone. The video for the song has already received almost 2 million combined views, with The Ready Set's "SETisodes" web series not far behind cracking one million views. The Ready Set is comprised of 20 year-old Indiana-born drummer, singer, songwriter and keyboardist Jordan Witzigreuter, who creates infectious, danceable pop designed for fun. I'm Alive, I'm Dreaming is the first release from the joint venture between Sire Records and Pete Wentz's Decaydance Records. The album is available everywhere.

Having toured steadily for the past year, The Ready Set has already developed a fiercely passionate and loyal fan-base. The self-described shy and reserved Witzigreuter transforms when taking the stage, with an in-your-face, frenetic live set. "Our shows are a party... All I care about is having fun," says Jordan.

The Ready Set just wrapped a highly successful "Shop 'till You Rock" performance in Dallas, TX with Demi Lovato, and continues his mobile party starting August 21st on the MTV VMA Tour supporting Never Shout Never. Look for him on tour throughout the fall.
