The New Conservatory Theatre Center's Pride Season Twelve presents the 2003 Tony Award Winner for Best Play, Take Me Out beginning May 11, opening May 19 with performances through July 1, 2007.

"Take Me Out is Richard Greenberg's complex meditation on prejudice and patriotism, suffused with a passion for baseball," states press notes, "Darren Lemming, the star center fielder of the world champion New York Empires is young, rich, famous, talented, handsome, and so convinced of his popularity that when he casually announces he is gay, he assumes that the news will be readily accepted by everybody.  It isn't."

Warning: Take Me Out features full-frontal male nudity.  Mature audiences only.

The show runs from May 19 – July 1, 2007 (no shows May 20, June 10 & 24).  Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8PM and Sundays at 2PM.  Previews will run May 11-19, 2007, and a captioned performance will take place on June 3 at 2PM.

All shows are in the New Conservatory Theatre Center's Decker Theatre, 25 Van Ness Avenue near Market, in San Francisco.

Tickets are $22 for Previews and Wednesdays, $28 for Thursdays and Fridays, $34 for Saturdays and Sundays, and $40 for Opening Night.  Pay As You Wish Community Night is Thursday, May 17, 2007.  Tickets are available at NCTC's Box Office 415-861-8972, or online at www.nctcsf.org.
