The Covina Center for the Performing Arts announces its shwos through the end of June, beginning with Tuesdays with Morrie, currently running until this Sunday, May 6th, starring Duane Thomas and Terre Gunkel.

Mitch Albom is lucky. He has the chance to rediscover his mentor, Morrie, his college professor from nearly twenty years ago, in the last months of the older man's life. Knowing they do not have much time left, Mitch meets with Morrie every Tuesday for one final "class" a lesson in how to live.

A Tribute to Frank Sinatra, featuring Monty Aidem, runs Friday and Saturday, May 11th and 12th at 8:00pm. See Monty Aidem doing what he likes best, performing his popular Frank Sinatra Tribute. Monty has performed at The Las Vegas Hilton, Caesar's Palace, The Palms, The Venetian, The Las Vegas Planet Hollywood & other Las Vegas locations, Universal Studios in Los Angeles, The Fairmont San Francisco, the resorts of Phoenix and Palm Springs and the hotels of San Diego, plus all over Los Angeles & across America.

Educating Rita, which runs May 18 to Jun 3, is about Susan (who initially calls herself Rita), who is dissatisfied with the routine of her work and social life and seeks inner growth by signing up for and attending an Open University course in English Literature. Dr. Frank Bryant is a middle-aged, alcoholic career academic who has taken on the tutorship to pay for his drink. The two have an immediate and profound effect on one another; Frank is impressed by Susan's verve and earnestness and is forced to re-examine his attitudes and position in life; Susan finds Frank's tutelage opens doors to a bohemian lifestyle and a new self-confidence.

Baby, running Jun 15 to Jun 30, tells the story of three couples on a university campus as they deal with the painful, rewarding and agonizingly funny consequences of this universal experience. There are the college students, barely at the beginning of their adult lives; the thirty-somethings, having trouble conceiving but determined to try; and the middle-aged parents, looking forward to seeing their last child graduate from college when a night of unexpected passion lands them back where they started.
