Stephen Kearin, known as one of the finest improvisers on the scene today (3 FOR ALL, Impro Theatre), will delight Bay Area audiences once again with a return performance of his hit one-man show, "STEPHEN KEARIN: INSIDE OUT" on Friday and Saturday, February 20 & 21, 27 & 28, 8pm at the Southside Theater, Fort Mason Center (Marina Blvd. and Buchanan Street, Building D, 3rd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94123.)

Following successful sold-out performances in Marin County, San Francisco, and most recently in Los Angeles, Kearin returns to San Francisco where his improvised acting career first started 28 years ago with BATS Improv to present a special two weekend engagement.

Growing up in Southern California in the 60's and 70's with a highly dysfunctional family might be memories one would want to forget. Not for Kearin. He has taken his family story and has turned it into a one-man show that takes the audience on an unforgettable ride through the highs and lows. With tales of his tough loving, chain smoking mom, his hard working war veteran father, two tenacious older sisters, and every family member in between (including a step-mother who was previously his aunt), Kearin dives deep into his family history to give a hilarious and emotional story as he introduces the world to "his people."

STEPHEN KEARIN began his career with Bay Area Theatresports in San Francisco, where he was a company member for 14 years. He was a founding member of Improv Theater and True Fiction Magazine. Kearin is currently a member of the critically-acclaimed improv ensembles, 3 FOR ALL (along with Rafe Chase and Tim Orr) and Impro Theatre in Los Angeles.

For the past two years, Kearin co-directed Impro Theatre's "Twilight Zone UnScripted" and recently, "The Western UnScripted" at the Falcon Theatre, all to rave reviews. In addition to lending his unique talents to countless improv performances within the U.S. and internationally, he has appeared in numerous stage productions, including the stilt-walking Iago in San Francisco Opera's "Otello", as Sally-Sue Weber in "A Weber Family Christmas" and he originated the role of Movie Mega-Superstar, Blaine Bustier, in "An Evening With Dirk & Blaine". Kearin is the co-creator of "Simlish" and was the principal male voice of "The Sims", "Sims 2" and "Sims Medieval". He created the Martian languages for Disney's "Mars Needs Moms". He is featured in the DreamWorks Animation films "Kung Fu Panda", "Kung Fu Panda 2", "Madagascar 2 & 3", "Monsters Vs. Aliens", "Megamind", the "Penguins of Madagascar" and "Home".

Kearin appears as the terrifying "Principal Mitchell" on the new Disney XD television series "Kirby Buckets". He stars in "The Bunglers", winner of Best Comedic Short at The 2012 Manhattan Film Festival. Stephen has been a visiting instructor at Stanford University and Cirque Du Soleil. Stephen currently resides in Pasadena with his wife and fellow improviser, Jo McGinley, but he will always consider San Francisco his home.

STEPHEN KEARIN - INSIDE OUT is Executive Produced by Eastman Productions & Stephen Kearin.
