Spreckels Theatre Company, located in Rohnert Park, Calif., has announced its theatrical presentations for the 2014 fall and winter season.

Spreckels Theatre Company is a semi-professional theater company which received five major San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Awards (including "Entire Production") for its 2013 production of Mel Brooks' Musical "Young Frankenstein."

Upcoming theatrical presentations at the Spreckels Performing Arts Center include two classic Broadway musicals; a bewitching comedy; a benefit concert starring actress/vocalist Kelly Brandeburg featuring songs made famous by Barbra Streisand; and an encore presentation of the company's critically acclaimed 2013 holiday musical production of "Scrooge! The Musical."

In January, 2015 Spreckels Theatre Company presents an encore presentation of "Next to Normal." This production of the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning rock musical about a mother suffering from bi-polar disorder was originally co-produced in April 2014 and presented in Marin County by Novato Theater Company and Theatre-At-Large. The critically acclaimed production, directed by Kim Bromley, will be re-designed for Spreckels' main stage and will feature the 2014 cast.
