Ray of Light Theatre of San Francisco presents Jason Robert Brown's Songs for a New World at the Eureka Theatre May 11 - 27. 

"Songs for a New World is an energetic and youthful musical revue about life on the brink of change composed by Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown (Parade, The Last 5 Years, 13)," states press notes, "A cast of four singer/actors experience adulthood, love, war, fame, success, motherhood, and death, and convey their journey through a compilation of songs, varying in styles that include traditional ballads, pop, and R&B."

The cast of Songs for a New World includes Jessica Coker, Lindsay Hirata, Robert Lopez, DaRon Lamar Williams.  Directed by George Quick with musical direction by Ben Prince and choreography by Noah Haydon.

Performances: May 11 through 27.  Fridays & Saturdays at 8PM; Sundays at 3PM.  Tickets ($15-$35) are available at www.roltheatre.com, with premium seating and student/senior discounts available.  The first 100 tickets to the Friday, May 11 performance are only $10.

The Eureka Theatre is located at 215 Jackson (at Battery) in downtown San Francisco, CA.
