Broadway San Jose, a Nederlander Presentation, is proud to present the Tony Award-nominated Broadway revival ofFiddler on the Roof at San Jose's Center for the Performing Arts (255 S. Almaden Blvd.) from Tuesday, May 21, 2019 through Sunday, May 26, 2019. Single tickets ($43-$153) are on-sale now at www.broadwaysanjose.com, in-person at the City National Civic Box Office (150 W. The performance schedule for Fiddler on the Roof is as follows: Tuesday, May 21 at 7:30 p.m. (press night); Wednesday, May 22 at 7:30 p.m.; Thursday, May 23 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, May 24 at 8 p.m.; Saturday, May 25 at 2 p.m. & 8 p.m.; andSunday, May 26 at 1 p.m. & 6:30 p.m.

A beloved theatrical classic from Tony Award winner Joseph Stein, and Pulitzer Prize winners Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick, Fiddler on the Roof is directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher (South Pacific, The King and I), choreographed by the acclaimed Israeli choreographer Hofesh Shechter-inspired by the original choreography of Jerome Robbins.

Fiddler on the Roof is the heartwarming story of fathers and daughters, husbands and wives, and life, love and laughter. This classic musical is rich with Broadway hits, including "To Life (L'Chaim!)," "If I Were A Rich Man," "Sunrise Sunset," "Matchmaker, Matchmaker," and "Tradition."

The original Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof, which opened in 1964, was the first musical in history to surpass 3,000 performances. The show won the 1965 Tony Award for Best Musical in addition to eight other Tony Awards that year. This acclaimed revival proudly introduces a new generation to the iconic musical adored across the globe.

The cast is led by Israeli theatre, film and TV star Yehezkel Lazarov, who will take on the lead role of 'Tevye.' The cast will also feature Maite Uzal as 'Golde,'Jonathan von Mering as 'Lazar Wolf,' Carol Beaugard as 'Yente,' Mel Weyn as 'Tzeitel,' Ruthy Froch as 'Hodel,' Natalie Powers as 'Chava,' Danielle Allen as 'Sphintze,' Emerson Glick as 'Bielke,' Jesse Weil as 'Motel,' Ryne Nardecchia as 'Perchick,' Joshua Logan Alexander as 'Fyedka' and Jeffrey Brooks as 'Constable.' The ensemble includes Danny Arnold, Eric Berey, Nicholas Berke,Eloise DeLuca, Derek Ege, David Ferguson, Olivia Gjurich, Michael Hegarty,Allegra Herman, Carolyn Keller, Paul Morland, Kelly Gabrielle Murphy, Jacob Nahor, Jack O'Brien, Honza Pelichovsky, Leah Platt, Lynda Senisi, Nick Siccone, Brian Silver, and Britte Steele.

Fiddler on the Roof has musical direction by Ted Sperling, scenic design by Tony Award nominee Michael Yeargan (The King and I), costume design by seven-time Tony Award winner Catherine Zuber (The King and I, My Fair Lady), lighting design by Tony Award nominee Donald Holder (The King and I), sound design by Tony Award winner Scott Lehrer (South Pacific), and hair and wig design by Tom Watson. Casting is by Jason Styres, CSA.

The tour of Fiddler on the Roof is presented by NETworks Presentations.

Fiddler on the Roof is presented as part of the Broadway San Jose 2018-19 season.
