San Francisco Ballet to Present Encore Performances of MERE MORTALS This Spring

Following the success of its recent world premiere, San Francisco Ballet will present the return of Mere Mortals this spring with seven encore performances from April 18–24 at the War Memorial Opera House.

Created by acclaimed choreographer Aszure Barton with music by world-renowned producer and composer Sam Shepherd AKA Floating Points, and with costumes by Michelle Jank and production designs by Barcelona-based Hamill Industries, Mere Mortals has garnered widespread praise for its innovative choreography and poignant storytelling, exploring Pandora’s myth with raw emotion and breathtaking artistry.

Shepherd will return to perform live at each of the encore performances.

Mere Mortals’ evening performances will include an afterparty in the price of the ticket, featuring a Bay Area DJ and a cash bar located in the lobby areas.
