SF Playhouse, Union Square's newest professional theatre, continues its fourth season with a revival of Craig Lucas's Christmas fable, Reckless, directed by Louis Parnell now playing November 15 through December 30.
"A Christmas adventure with lots of snow and a very unlikely Santa. When a child-like suburban housewife climbs out her bedroom window on Christmas Eve, nothing will ever be the same, as she begins a fantastic journey of self-discovery," describes press notes, "Rachel's son has fired her, her husband's put out a contract on her life, and so she's out the window – literally. This bittersweet comedy follows Rachel through a bizarre, fantastic, and sometimes nightmarish odyssey as she travels across the country, finding 'home' with a succession of intimate strangers."
Reckless has previews November 15, 16, 17 and opens Saturday, November 18, running through December 30, 2006
Show times are Wednesday – Saturday at 8:00PM and Saturday matinees at 3:00PM.
