Sheryl Lee Ralph, who originated the role of Deena Jones in DREAMGIRLS, will appear with the current touring cast of DREAMGIRLS at a benefit at San Francisco's Marines' Memorial Theatre, the theatre's official website announces. The show, which will take place on September 20 at 7:30pm, will benefit The Richmond/Ermet AIDS Foundation and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
The cast will perform musical numbers.

In addition to DREAMGIRLS, for which she was nominated for a Tony Award, Sheryl Lee Ralph's stage credits include REGGAE and THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE. On screen, she has appeared in 'It's a Living,' 'Designing Women,' 'Moesha,' and 'Justice League,' among others.
