The producers of Russian on the Side understand that we are in midst of tough times, and in tough times, even lovers of great theatre could use a break. For a limited time only, the producers are offering 20 tickets for each performance available at the price of $20 per ticket.

The offer is available on a cash-only, first come first served basis in person at the Marines Memorial Theatre Box Office (609 Sutter Street @ Mason, 2nd floor). Tickets may be reserved in advance by calling the box office at 415-771-6900. Ask for the Broadway Bay Area Bail Out price.

Mark Nadler In Russian on the Side, show business virtuoso Mark Nadler takes the audience on a 90-minute zany and tune-filled comic journey, irreverently exploring the lives, loves and legacies of the world's great composers (sharing some glorious bits of gossip along the way). With songs by Ira Gershwin, Frank Loesser, Stephen Sondheim and more, Russian on the Side is a laugh out loud look at who got to live forever....and who didn't.

Rex Reed describes Mark Nadler as, "A combination of Danny Kaye and all the Marx Bros put together!" Tommy Tune says he's "A consummate showman" and Carol Channing sings, "Mark Nadler is a diamond in the rough - not to be missed."

And the critics are raving! Variety calls Russian on the Side "endearing and at times insanely entertaining... a goofy, musically brilliant tour de schtick...pure entertainment!" Jan Wahl of KRON and KCBS-AM/FM gives the show 4 hats (highest rating) and calls Nadler "an imaginative, fun entertainer," while Pat Craig of the Contra Costa Times calls Russian "a wildly entertaining show!"

Russian on the Side is now at San Francisco's Marines Memorial Theatre (609 Sutter @ Mason, 2nd floor) through Sunday, November 16. Performances are Tuesdays - Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 3 p.m. & 8 p.m., and Sundays at 3 p.m. (On Saturday, November 8, the evening performance will be at 9 p.m.) For more information, visit RussianOnTheSideOnline.com
