San Francisco School of the Arts proudly presents the musical Quilters, September 28-30.

Quilters originally opened at the Jack Lawrence Theatre and was nominated for the 1985 Tony Award for Best Musical, and also garnered nominations for Best Book by Molly Newman and Barbara Damashek, and Best Music/Lyrics and Best Direction by Damashek.  The musical is based off the oral history celebrating the legacy of pioneer women who sewed their trials, joys, and pieces of their lives into the fabric of America.

Show times are Sept. 28 & 29 at 7:30PM, and Sept. 30 at 2 & 7:30PM.  A special dinner theatre package is offered Saturday the 30th for Closing Night, limited seating.

For tickets, call the box office at 415-695-5720.  Quilters will be performed at the San Francisco School of the Arts Main Stage, located at 555 Portola Drive (at O'Shaughnessy).
