On August 1, 2017, you are invited to "Color Factory," a 12,000 square foot pop-up color experience in San Francisco's Union Square neighborhood, by Oh Happy Day, artist Leah Rosenberg, and designer Erin Jang.

A two-story, freshly-striped facade houses an expansive exhibition celebrating color and material, featuring 15 site-specific works by artists and collaborators: Jacob Dahlgren, Tom Stayte, Geronimo Balloons, Tosha Stimage, Andrew Neyer & Andy J. Miller, Jessica Hische, Carissa Potter, Randi Brookman Harris, Stanton Jones, Leah Rosenberg, and Erin Jang.

Participants of all ages are encouraged to partake in this playground of pigment, to revel in chromatic splendor, and explore the possibilities of hue. Highlights include a giant yellow ball pit, filled with 207,000 balls, a seven-foot lazy susan, serving technicolor treats from Chantal Guillon, Craftsman and Wolves, and Doughbies, a confetti room where visitors can experience the inside of a rainbow snow globe, as a partnership with method, and an all-yellow gift shop by Randi Brookman Harris, with soft serve from Garden Creamery on tap, in a variety of yellow flavors. Guests can walk through artist Jacob Dahlgren's 10,000 ribbon grid and take in an orange found-object assemblage by Tosha Stimage, a room-sized selfie installation by artist Tom Stayte, and a holographic prism room by artist Leah Rosenberg. Color Factory has partnered with Alaska Airlines and Geronimo Balloons to create glass-walled balloon room experience.

At the entry, visitors are invited to register for a card with a special barcode which can be scanned at six room-sized photo booth stations set up throughout the exhibition. Images will automatically be emailed to users.

Color Factory has also created a map of 17 specially-commissioned color experiences throughout San Francisco. After your visit, pick up a map and track down a pink drink from Boba Guys, pop into Moth & Dagger tattoo parlor for a custom temporary tattoo, discover Jessica Hische's secret alley mural, and many other surprises.

"I'm so excited to share Color Factory with the world," said Jordan Ferney, Founder and Chief Happy Officer at Oh Happy Day. "We've brought together this talented group of artists and creatives, with a deep love for color, to make these delightful experiences. So, put on your favorite hue and come lose yourself in 10,000 colored ribbons, sink into a giant yellow ball pit, catch some rainbows, smell colorful memories, and taste a spectrum of San Francisco treats."
