The 6th Street Playhouse's production of THE CHAIRS by Eugene Ionesco recently began performances. The production is conceived and directed by David Lear.

An elderly couple living on an island spend their time sharing old stories and entertaining imaginary guests in this daring and timeless farce by Eugene Ionesco. Ionesco's farce combines a comic portrait of human folly with an experiment in theatrical possibilities.

Featuring Elizabeth Fuller, Eliot Fintushel and David Lear with surround sound design effects by Albert Casselhoff. Directed by David Lear.

Presented at the 6th Street Playhouse in Santa Rosa, California through April 11, 2010. Performances 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays March 26, 27, 28 and April 2, 3, 9, 10 & 11.
