The Ross Valley Players presents a provocative, spicy production of "The Miser."
First staged in 1668, "The Miser" is one of French playwright Molière's funniest and most enduring plays. Old Harpagon is a penny-pinching miser who loves his hidden fortune more than his children. But, when he falls for the same girl as his son, all bets are off as his kids conspire to trick him out of his treasure. Greed, lies, conflict, sex and paranoia: it's a comedy that's as timely today as the day it was written. Directed by Bruce Vieira.
