Photo Flash: Juliette Bennett Wins Big at BAFF

Juliette Bennett has won "Best Actor in a Comedy" and "Best Actor in a Short Film" at San Francisco's "The Best Actor in a Film Festival" for her performance in THE COUPLE. BAFF was hosted by Imaginative Productions, and Shari Carlson, Director of the Festival. It is committed to celebrating excellence in the acting profession. It salutes actors who exhibit creativity, craft, and commitment to the art of acting. The festival is the only American film festival focusing its awards exclusively on actors and directors. THE COUPLE will be shown at the Manhattan Film Festival on Saturday, July 23rd at Symphony Space in New York City. The film was directed by Alison Chernick, and co-stars Ken Forman and Angela Dee. (www.manhattanfilmfestival.org)

Bennett also stars with Bill Connington (ZOMBIE) and Anthony Haden-Guest (THE LAST DAYS OF DISCO), in the short film THE THORNHILLS OF PARK AVENUE. The film was directed by Thomas Caruso (ZOMBIE). In addition to THE COUPLE and THE THORNHILLS OF PARK AVENUE, Bennett has appeared in the film AS GOOD AS DEAD, on television's LAS VEGAS, as well as on the New York stage.

Next up for Bennett is a new film directed by Cornelia Ravenal (Wilderness Films). Ravenal wrote the screenplay for the film THE OTHER WOMAN in which Bennett starred. The film won the "Best of Festival" at the New York Downtown Short Film Festival in 2007.
