Oasis San Francisco Announces June 2015 Lineup

Oasis (298 11th Street), San Francisco's hottest new nightclub and cabaret theater, kicks off the summer season with a diverse lineup of new and returning musical acts, comedy shows, dance parties, and drag performances. Tickets for all performances are available now at www.sfoasis.com or in-person at the Oasis Box Office.

Located in the heart of San Francisco's SOMA district, Oasis offers the best of gay culture and an unforgettable, only-in-San-Francisco nightlife experience. Hosted by Heklina and D'Arcy Drollinger, Oasis' diverse roster of programming includes local and visiting drag stars, cabaret and performing artists, live musical acts, amazing DJs and more.


The performance schedule for June is as follows:

RED HOTS BURLESQUE

Wednesdays June 10, 17, 24 Doors at 9 p.m. | Tickets: $10 - $20

Red Hots Burlesque is the United States' longest running queer burlesque show featuring an international rotating cast that guarantees that you will never see the same show twice.

THE MORNING AFTER!: BBQ ON THE ROOF

Every Sunday at 11 a.m. | NO COVER

The Oasis roof-top deck is the place to be on the "Morning After" every Sunday between 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. with Sneaky's BBQ providing the food, and Oasis serving up delicious Mimosa's and Bloody Mary's so good you won't even care anymore about all those things you did the night before.

ADAN GARCIA'S I HEART QUEENS

San Francisco Illustrator and 3-D Animator Adan Garcia will present his very first Art Show of his iHeART Queens Series during the month of June with an artist reception on June 2 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. The iHeART Queens Series contains illustrations of some of San Francisco's most prolific

drag entertainers and icons including Heklina, Sister Roma, Peaches Christ, BeBe Sweetbriar, Honey Mahogany, Pollo Del Mar, Grace Towers, D'Arcy Drollinger, The Boulet Brothers, Mahlae Balenciaga, Mary Magnum and the late Cookie Dough. A special $5 raffle will be held during the reception for a Cookie Dough framed illustration with the proceeds to benefit The Queens of the Castro Cookie Dough Memorial Award Fund. Many of the artist's featured drag queens will be in attendance at the reception.

MAZEL TOP! SCHMEAR MY BAGEL

The Barnaby Brothers are at it again, taking San Francisco's hottest new nightspot Oasis back in time to the golden years of entertainment. Red Hots Burlesque and Barnaby's Babes dial up the nostalgia, reviving the heyday of the revue with a brand new show, featuring all live music as well as San Francisco's favorite drag, comedy and burlesque stars!

Red Hots Burlesque, the longest running queer burlesque show in the U.S., and the creators of SF Boylesque, America's first all male neo burlesque revue, continue to break entertainment ground with Barnaby's Babes. Barnaby's Babes runs the first Wednesday of every month. The pink bubble sparkles into Oasis, joining a diverse roster of theater and cabaret programming, always offering an excuse to dress up for our most lavish sit down affair.

Uncover the possibilities of being Polyglamorous at a monthly party with an underground vibe. Beats, boys, glamour await at the Oasis in San Francisco. Polyglamorous June features two of the founders of Friends with Benefits Records, Trevor Siegler (Squrrrl) and David Sylvester (Two Dudes in Love).

Ky Martinez and Mohammad Vahidy in association with Johnathan Lay and Juan Martinez have done exactly what they claimed -- redefining "Sunday Funday" by throwing the absolutely sensational Sunsation Sundays at Oasis from 3 p.m.-9 p.m.

Gloss magazine, Castro diva, Carnie Asada Smith, along with sexy man-about-town Mark Bowen will be your special hosts for this June 7th episode of Sunsation Sundays.

This widely-acclaimed party showcases the music, the vibe, and the over 700 people from all different walks of life, and of course, the only gay roof top deck in San Francisco. Sunday, June 7 also features the popular beats of local DJ's -- veteran Andrew Gibbions and fresh meat, Scott Shepard. Both giving their interpretation of that wind-through -- your-hair, sun-on-your-face vibe that screams summer.

Michael Buchanan is a Joseph Jefferson Award winning performer (Urinetown) and is currently on the 1st National Tour of The Book Of Mormon.
