The San Jose Rep is thrilled to present the award-winning play Nixon's Nixon on the 10th anniversary of its first appearance at the Rep in 1997 -- to run from March 24 through April 22 with an opening Friday, March 30.
"Get ready to eavesdrop on one of the most famous meetings in recent history. Russell Lees' uproarious story Nixon's Nixon is about the imagined conversation of the secret meeting between President Richard M. Nixon and Henry A. Kissinger on the night before Nixon resigns his presidency," states press notes.
Nixon's Nixon is written by Russell Lees and directed by Michael Bulter. The cast includes David Pichette (Richard Nixon), Peter Van Norden (Henry Kissinger), and Mike Taylor (The Marine). The creative team includes Scott Weldin (scenic design), B. Modern (costume), Kurt Landisman (lighting), Jeff Mockus (sound), Laxmi Kumaran (stage manager).
Previews are March 24, 25, 28, and 29. Press Opening is Friday, March 30 at 8PM. Performances through April 22.
