Mose Allison
THIS SUNDAY, September 26, 4pm
$25 / $30
This performance is a celebration of Mose Allison: The Way of the World, the first studio album in over ten years from one of America's greatest songwriters and musicians. By his own estimate, influential musician Mose Allison has written over 150 songs, several of which have been covered by such pop artists as Bonnie Raitt, Van Morrison, Tracy Nelson, the Who and Elvis Costello. And while wide-scale attention has eluded the 73-year-old jazz pianist/singer, Allison continues to perform 125 gigs a year.
"Mose Allison is nothing less than a National Treasure." - The New Yorker

$65 / $95 / $125
Grammy Award-winning recording artist Emmylou Harris takes the Opera House stage to share highlights from her 40-year career. Her most recent album, All I Intended To Be, is a catalogue of her many gifts-as an interpreter, as an eloquent composer herself, as an inveterate musical explorer who's been able to discover, rescue, and/or give new life to many a beautiful but overlooked country, bluegrass or folk tune.
Sponsored in part by Sandra and David Norwitt
