NCTC Pride Season 15 presents Good Boys and True by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and directed by John Dixon. The show previews August 14 - 21, opens August 22nd (Press Night is Friday, August 21st) and runs through September 20, 2009: Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm. Set against a backdrop of 1980s privilege and power, Good Boys and True centers on a disturbing scandal at an all-boys prep school which forces a mother to confront the truth about her son and herself. Good Boys and True world premiered at Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre in late 2007, around the same time NCTC produced the West Coast premiere of Aguirre-Sacasa's Based on a Totally True Story-2007 Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Awards for Best Drama and Best Director (John Dixon) in the Drama under 99 Seats category.

Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa received his undergraduate degree at Georgetown University, where he studied playwriting under Donn B. Murphy. He then graduated from the Yale School of Drama in 2003 where his play Rough Magic, an interpretation of Shakespeare's The Tempest was produced.
His plays include Based on a Totally True Story, Bloody Mary, Rough Magic, Dark Matters,Good Boys and True, The Mystery Plays, and Say You Love Satan. He is one of the writers of the HBO series Big Love.
