YOU is a love story spanning 21 years, bouncing around in time, creating a kind of family quilt that wraps around a father as he struggles to overcome the grief of losing his beloved wife and raise their daughter alone.
In the film, Miranda, played by Melora Hardin (The Office, Hannah Montana: The Movie, 17 Again and Broadway's Chicago) and Rawdon, played by Gildart Jackson (Charmed and Providence) are meant to be --soulmates -- basking in the bliss of their newborn daughter, Quincey. But when Miranda dies suddenly, Rawdon is left to raise Quincey on his own, and by keeping Miranda alive in his imagination he is both helped and hindered in moving on. Quincey as a 20 year old is played by Allison Mack (Smallville) and the women that enter Rawdon and Quincey's lives are played by Brenda Strong (Desperate Housewives), Amy Pietz (Caroline in the City) and Joely Fisher ('Til Death).
