Marin Theatre Company Hosts WRITE NITE/PLAY DAY 24-Hour Playwriting Festival This Weekend

Marin Theatre Company presents the Write Nite/Play Day 24-Hour Playwriting Festival, featuring high school theater artists from Marin County today, February 7, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 10:00 p.m. (Performance: Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 8:00pm) at the Marin Theatre Company, 397 Miller Avenue, Mill Valley, Calif.

Announcing MTC's first annual 24-Hour Playwriting Festival. High school theater artists from all over Marin County will come together to face the challenge of creating an evening of entirely new plays from blank page to performance in only 24 hours. During the overnight festival, students will write, cast and rehearse these new works, culminating in a final performance at MTC. To participate, teens must sign up before February 1, 2014 (https://marintheatre.wufoo.com/forms/24hour-playwriting-festival/).
