Marin Shakespeare Co. to Stage AN IDEAL HUSBAND, 8/15-9/27

Marin Shakespeare continues its 25th Silver Season with Oscar Wilde's wonderfully witty story "An Ideal Husband", a play about scandal, seduction and insider trading, directed by Robert Currier.

Featuring Darren Bridgett as Lord Goring, Nick Sholley as Sir Robert Chiltern, Marcia Pizzo as Lady Chiltern, Cat Thompson as Mrs. Cheveley, Julian Lopez-Morillas as The Earl of Caversham and Kate McGrath as Miss Mabel Chiltern.

Performances are presented in repertory Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from Aug. 15 to Sept. 27, 2014. Check for specific performance dates and times at the Marin Shakespeare website.

The amphitheater opens one hour prior to show time for picnicking. Audiences are encouraged to bring picnics or purchase snacks at the Theatre Cafe. Warm clothing, jackets and blankets are recommended for evening performances. Parking is free.

The show runs Aug. 15 to Sept. 27, 2014. Performances are presented in repertory Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Find specific performance dates and times at the Marin Shakespeare website. Previews: 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15 and Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014. Opening: 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014.

Tickets: $12 to $35 and "Pay Your Age"; $12 for previews and $35 general; $32 senior; and $20 youth for all other performances. "Pay Your Age" is offered to audience members between the ages of 20 and 35-years old when purchasing tickets at the Box Office on the day of any performance, with valid identification.
