Magic Theatre, the premiere home for new plays, announces its 2007-08 Season of six world premiere productions. Opening September 2007 and running through June 2008, the season brings together Magic Theatre veterans and Bay Area newcomers with a compelling mix of theatrical storytelling.
Subscriptions and pass memberships are available for Magic Theatre's 2007-2008 Season. Six-play subscriptions range from $120 to $240 with flexible six-ticket passes from $144 to $264. This original and theatrical docu-drama explores the political and personal life-and-death crisis of two American astronauts and a Russian cosmonaut stranded on Expedition 6, the International Space Station, after the Columbia Shuttle disaster of 2003 during the build-up to the Invasion of Iraq. Creator and director Pullman uses a company of 8 actors and 5 low-flying trapezes in this imaginative, stylized new work.

Palestinian-American writer Betty Shamieh (The Black-Eyed) takes a hard look at the roots of religious tensions and gender politics in the Middle East.
