Today, Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (LBC) announced its annual benefit, The Art of Dessert on Saturday, April 7, 2018 in the Center's Lytton Rancheria Grand Lobby (50 Mark West Springs Road in Santa Rosa). Now in its 15th year, The Art of Dessert, an evening of fine dining, features one-of-a-kind confections created by famed North Bay pastry artists. Desserts will be judged by a panel of local celebrities, and will double as artistic table centerpieces and the delectable final course. The Art of Dessert raises vital funds for the Luther Burbank Memorial Foundation, which allows the Center to engage Sonoma County residents in the power of the arts, from world class performances to nationally-recognized education programs that change the lives of 40,000 children annually. Since its inception, The Art of Dessert has raised $3.2 million and helped the Center provide the enrichment of arts to over 400,000 children.
