Lucky Penny Productions presents "Gruesome Playground Injuries", the latest work of young playwright, Rajiv Joseph, whose last play, "Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo" made it to Broadway and starred Robin Williams. "Gruesome Playground Injuries" explores the intersection of two young lives using scars, wounds, and calamity as the mile markers to explore why people hurt themselves to gain another's love, and the cumulative effect of such damage. Joseph has a lot to say in this work about love and desire and impacts we have on and with one another. The show is rated R for mature audiences.

Our production will feature two of the North Bay's best known actors, Katie Kelley and Ben Stowe as the two characters we follow during their 30 year relationship.

The show is directed by Barry Martin and runs for a limited two week run opening on Friday October 16 and closing on Sunday October 25 at Lucky Penny's Community Arts Center, 1758 Industrial Way, #208. Tickets are available online at www.luckypennynapa.com or by calling 266-6305.
