Thrill to Nat King Cole faves including; Sentimental, Stardust, Let There B Luv and Unforgettable. Songs that will help rekindle the flames of love in your heart.

On February 15th, 2018 the George Cole Trio will give an encore performance of the show with even more delectable song choices including; Nature Boy, Walkin My Baby, Route 66 and Straighten Up & Fly Right.

Cole Swings Cole is a vibrant and engaging show performed by the George Cole Trio with virtuoso jazz guitarist George Cole [guitar and vocals] Sir Richard Nelson Hall on piano, and Carla Kaufman on the upright bass. The show highlights songs from the original Nat King Cole Trio, Nat King Cole's solo career, some of Nat's biggest hits, and selected songs from George Cole's catalog.

When George Cole was asked what provoked him to create the "Cole Swings Cole" show he commented; "My musical background as a rock & roll lead guitarist became greatly changed. I became inspired by the love both my parents had for the music of Nat King Cole. This caused me to re-evaluate and re-focus on music that gives new meaning and purpose to my career."

All songs have a heaping helping of impeccably executed guitar, piano, and upright bass. The show highlights some of Nat's big hits of the forties, fifties, sixties, and Great American Songbook compositions. The George Cole Trio will create a night of nostalgia rendering iconic classics like "Unforgettable", "Mona Lisa", "Nature Boy" and countless others. Timeless music perfect for the young and the young at heart!

George Cole (lead guitar/vocals):Featured in the January 2017 issue of Guitar Player Magazine, Acoustic Disc Recording artist George Cole is a musician who's career reads like a Hall Of Fame Plaque. Current guitarist for David Grisman, he also taught Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees and long time friends Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt of Green Day for 10 years. George has toured with Joe Walsh of the Eagles on his Anthology Tour, recorded with Chris Isaak on his Platinum selling "Forever Blue" cd and sang duets with jazz legend Keely Smith.

He currently performs his "Cole Swings Cole" show at performing arts centers, is signed to David Grisman's Acoustic Oasis/Acoustic Disc ;abel for online distribution of his "Riverside Drive" album, and, first-ever live recording "George Cole LIVE!" ?http://georgecole.net

Sir Richard Nelson Hall (piano),"Cole Swings Cole" musical director, was the driving force of "Rat Pack is Back" show that toured theatres in 96 U.S. cities in 2016. From the Ritz and the Savoy in London to the Fillmore in San Francisco, Richard brings down the house with his exquisite playing.

Carla Kaufman (upright bass) is an in-demand Bay Area bassist who has played in the California Symphony, The Women's Philharmonic, Berkeley Symphony and with many great musicians including Mike Greensill, Wesla Whitfield, Maria Muldaur, Eddie Duran, Davis Ramey, Donald "Duck" Bailey, E. Kelly, Smiley Winters, Jules Broussard, Kenny Washington, and many more.
